Harlem in the 70's

There's something to be said about having a beautiful day in the city but more particular a beautiful day in Harlem. Since moving to New York my first place of residency was in the heart of Harlem and still remains so. I love it here for its incredible energy and lively culture that encompass everything that Harlem is about and continues to become. Being that it was also Easter my cousin and I decided to spend it together. We had brunch at  BLVD Bistro located at 239 Lenox Ave & 122nd Street and then later joined some friends for drinks at other places.

Let's talk about more good stuff. I believe you'll see me wearing loads of bralettes this Spring/Summer and I have my eyes set on purchasing quite a few to put in rotation like this cute one here and this very sexy one here. If you haven't noticed by now but I'm a complete and total fan of palazzo pants because they're so fun, loose, and an easy piece to wear all Spring/Summer. Mine are by the brand Gracia however I'm also loving this similar high-waist coral pair and this fit and flare printed pair too. I loved mixing the gold bralette with the burnt orange dramatic flared palazzo pants because it totally reminded me of a 70's look which is one of my favorite time periods off all time.
