Rainbow Shoes And A Velvet Top

Woah! I just noticed a pattern. I've worn velvet tops now twice in a row. Check out my last blog post here for another velvet number featuring my bright orange mock neck top. This one is different because it is halter which is much easier to wear during the day when the sun is blazing. And also looks quite sexy at night because of the shade and cut.

I love retro pieces like this super hot pink belt that is actually from my matching trench coat. Pulling belts and sashes from other items in your closet is a great way to maximize your wardrobes potential.

How coincidental is it that my lastest shoe purchase from Ebay matched this umbrella perfectly. You may remember these shoes from my latest IG story when I asked my followers to buy or not. Most of you guys said, "yes". And voilà they are here!

Confession: "I love a good ugly shoe"!

I had amazing time going SKATING in this look at a Beyoncé versus Jay-Z skate party. You wouldn't believe the amount of times I fell over and over again. Geesh, I am all bruised from the falling. It was great trying to get the hang of it again but I must admit I've always been an awful skater. Lol!

What are some fun activities you all are doing this summer. List them below and have a great day! :-)

Recently I've been incorporating more minimal pieces into my wardrobe. Partially because it really makes getting dressed in the mornings more efficient when you don't have to choose between a hundred shirts. You can always revert back to a minimal/neutral color palette to get things moving along.

I've recently been inspired by the elegant style of french women wardrobes. They are neutral, modern, classic, tailored, easy and effortlessly chic. I love a casual outfit formula I can always repeat and still look timeless. French women style seem to have a certain "je ne sais quoi" I keep graviating towards.

I honestly can't get enough of wearing culottes (remember when I styled them here), sometimes I feel I live in them as I've worn them so much. That's when you know your money is well invested. Ha! Pairing a striped shirt with this look just seem to make since as it's a French girl staple shirt among others. I took an evening bag and tied a bandanna scarf around the strap for that lux factor with a bit of edge. I pulled the look together with a snake-print pointed flat and a minimal pair of gold earrings to finish the look.

This look was perfect for discovering new cafe's and strolling through the park. Do you like this Parisian inspired look? Let me know in the comments below.
