Spring Time Blues

Aside from yesterdays randomness of drinking a canned beer with a straw at a... get this, beer event.  I perhaps looked like the biggest queen of the bourgeois clan at you know an actual beer event were normal folks unlike myself drink it straight from the can. Cue the proper emoji please πŸ‘‰πŸΎπŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ. Yes I know sometimes I fail at the smallest task in life. Haha and the other day was one of many. But that's okay I'll crawl into my rabbit hole and pretend I didn't just shame myself in front of the 20's something year olds who probably could care less how I partake in drinking beer. What can I say I'm a huge germaphobe at best! Aside from my lack of blending in and unfollowing the rules, I decided to blend out and sport a blue monochromatic number.

While the weather is still adjusting I'm opting to wear lighter weight sweaters in lieu of my heavier Winter ones. So I paired my sweater with a true blue cropped denim pant. Since we can't quite retire the coats. I pulled on my favorite coat of the season this teal number I've been loving and wearing nonstop since the start of Winter.

I've been noting all the trends during Spring/Summer fashion week everywhere and decided to try one out with this look. Colored tights were seen on every runway imaginable during New York, London, Milan, and Paris fashion week. I decided to settle for a sheer red pair embellished with a cool diamond print running along the front. Nothing says Spring like white booties so here we are.

What do you think of this look? Will you be trying any new Spring Trends? Let me know in the comments below and have a great weekend! :-)

After what seem like undoubtedly the longest Winter ever has finally shined a little light on a grand Easter Sunday. Hoped everyone enjoyed their day because I certainly did. My Sunday started off with a stroll around the financial district near the river to take in some great views with my lovely. We arrived just in time to see the  beginning of the sunset. We decided to grab a cappuccino and pastry then commenced to take in the view from the comfort of the Brookfield mall that over looks the Hudson. After enjoying a beautiful sunset, we trotted off to Matro's Restaurant for an unbelievable dinner that left us rubbing our belly's. Food baby in full affect, no shame here! If you ever visit Matro's be sure to go during the live performance time if possible. From the food, service, ambiance, and songtress our Sunday ended on the loveliest of notes.

How did you enjoy your Sunday? Comment below! :-)
