Mixing Prints For Summer

I've been inspired a lot lately by prints and I was especially inspired by Beyoncé Vogue September issue. And I wanted to create a no fussy summer outfit centered around mixing prints, glam and comfort. The printed bomber from BEBE is perfect for the awkward weather we've been having here in NYC. It's incredibly light weight and great for moving about your day comfortably.

I wanted to glam this look up by going for my black sequin midi skirt. I love that the two pieces did not compete with one another. I whore platform shoes to add comfort and edge. My cow print handbag worked well with  my look and I predict a resurgence of cow print everything coming out this Fall/Winter. I'm a true Texan girl so western wear is a no brainer.

Adding anything extra to this look would have been an over kill so I finished my look off with my square gold earrings which has worked well with everything!

Gucci This! Gucci That!

Can we all take a moment to acknowledge the fact that Gucci is having a major moment. Each year another fashion house revamps it's line and storm the runways, Gucci was no exception. Well 2016 and it looks as though 2017 also will be centered around this fashion power house. And I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what Alessandro Michele will do next. If it's anything close to his last collection's that featured an array of quirky 70's inspired, vintage remixed, preppy almost outlandish pieces then I can't express enough excitement! With Michele being the new creative director for Gucci, I'm almost certain he'll keep Gucci in the spotlight. So I've compiled a list of some of my favorite pieces for you all to shop. Comment below your favorite Gucci pieces at the moment.
