Get The Look...

Nothing screams more Fall then having a chic bomber jacket on deck. In this case I have several that will be in constant rotation this season. The bomber jacket is another one of those staple Summer to Fall transitional piece that is great to have in your wardrobe as the months ahead cool down. They seem to never go out of style. Remember when I wore the same bomber in this post here then again here? They are just that great!

I absolutely adore this royal blue bomber I picked up last Fall. I loved it so much I went back to get the same one in black. Bombers are easy to layer and perfect for pulling off those edgy looks. I paired mine with high waist leather leggings, studded strap sandals, and a stripe denim shirt. It is the perfect edgy yet somewhat monochromatic look.

So if you're thinking about purchasing a new bomber jacket this fall try toughening up the look with leather like this one here, denim, studs, go monochromatic or even try out a fun bold colored bomber to spice things up (like this beauty here).

Recently I've been incorporating more minimal pieces into my wardrobe. Partially because it really makes getting dressed in the mornings more efficient when you don't have to choose between a hundred shirts. You can always revert back to a minimal/neutral color palette to get things moving along.

I've recently been inspired by the elegant style of french women wardrobes. They are neutral, modern, classic, tailored, easy and effortlessly chic. I love a casual outfit formula I can always repeat and still look timeless. French women style seem to have a certain "je ne sais quoi" I keep graviating towards.

I honestly can't get enough of wearing culottes (remember when I styled them here), sometimes I feel I live in them as I've worn them so much. That's when you know your money is well invested. Ha! Pairing a striped shirt with this look just seem to make since as it's a French girl staple shirt among others. I took an evening bag and tied a bandanna scarf around the strap for that lux factor with a bit of edge. I pulled the look together with a snake-print pointed flat and a minimal pair of gold earrings to finish the look.

This look was perfect for discovering new cafe's and strolling through the park. Do you like this Parisian inspired look? Let me know in the comments below.

Denim Craze

How could you not love anything denim? After all it's the perfect marriage to any article of clothing in your closet. Like the ice cream to the cone. The milk to the shake. The glaze on the donut. Haha! I think I might just be hungry writing this post. You get the picture. Denim works with primarily anything. With this particular look I decided to...you guessed it, I paired my denim pants from H&M with more denim I.e this denim jacket I purchased from Old Navy! Underneath I sported a silver sleek cropped top. I also added my favorite glasses at the moment, these mirror shades from Aldo's and a simple black sandal. Have a exhausted the word denim yet in this post?!?!  One more time, "Denim". Remember it works with everything!
